Sonar Welcomes Darryl West as Senior Advisor

Former CIO of HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group, and Barclays Signs on to Support Code Quality Market Leader

AUSTIN and GENEVA – December 11 – Earlier this year, leading business technologist Darryl West joined Sonar as a Senior Advisor to provide strategic guidance to CEO Tariq Shaukat and the company’s Product and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams. Mr. West has driven transformational business change through the adoption and evolution of new technologies and his approach to innovation, with more than 35 years of experience leading global financial institutions. Previously, he was the CIO at HSBC, Barclays, and Lloyds Banking Group. Prior to Mr. West’s CIO position, he held other leadership roles at JP Morgan Chase and National Australia Group Europe. 


In his efforts with Sonar, Mr. West will help to further the company’s mission to increase the value of software as a business asset through improved code quality and security. Sonar’s focus on the developer experience helps organizations continuously reduce the exposure and risk that results from poorly written code and improve the performance of their software.
